Sterling has one Sponsor See that wonderful smile on Sterling’s face. Even his eyes are smiling! That’s because he’s so happy to be in his new home here at Smiling Dog Farms. Sterling went through a period there where he just could not catch a break.  He was "rescued" from a bad situation and, unfortunately, placed with a bad foster from a bad rescue group. He was then rescued again but this time he was placed into a kennel environment where he got into some trouble.  His rescuer then moved him to a more secure kennel where he stayed locked up most of the time. He has finally found that break he was looking for, and thanks to a really nice lady named Jyl, Sterling is now happy and secure in his very own townhome and play yard here at Smiling Dog Farms. Sterling is a big, strong guy. His only health problem is that he was heartworm positive when he came to the farm, but he’s being given treatments. As soon as he gets a clean bill of health, Sterling will be included in our New Directions Adoption Program. He is a high energy boy, and is good with most people. The only fault we have seen is that he is very, very dog aggressive and must be in an environment where he doesn’t come into contact with other dogs. He should be adopted by someone experienced with handling a dog like Sterling, someone with no other pets, and no small children.
