Red Has One Sponsor My name is Red.   A nice lady named Patti, who does transports for Smiling Dog Farms, picked me up and took me home with her. She was going to keep me, but I don’t like other dogs much. Patti had this little dog that lived with her. We got crossways with each other, and one thing led to another and the little dog got really badly hurt. Well actually, it got killed. But Patti is a really really nice person. She brought me to Smiling Dog Farms instead of taking me to a shelter where I would certainly have been euthanized. In addition, Patti funded my whole townhome and play yard so that I would have a comfy place to stay. She’s been a real angel to me. I like it here at the farm. I don’t generally like people much. In fact, I bite people that I don’t like ...  but I love Jay and Ricky. And they love me too. And someone checks on me and makes sure I have food and fresh clean water every day. Best of all, I don't have to put up with other dogs or people I don’t like. I can just be myself and not have to worry about getting into trouble. Ricky and Jay told me I can live out the rest of my life right here in my own play yard and townhome! They say I’m not adoptable ... that I’m a Sanctuary Dog here at the farm and this will be my permanent home. But that’s okay with me. It’s a great place to be!
