Ralph has one Sponsor! Ralph may always be a Sanctuary dog. But right now, we can’t seem to get him to understand that he doesn’t have to be afraid any more. Ralph is semi-feral and is very frightened of people. He will bite if he feels like you are getting too close to him. But he loves other dogs. We recently introduced him to a couple of sweet girls, Rachel and Pumpkin, and he is fitting in with them nicely. He loves his new doggie friends and has a great time playing with them in their play yard. Ralph is very young, probably not more than a year old. We don’t know what happened early in his life that has caused him to be so frightened of people, but it’s possible that being here at the farm, around people who handle him with kindness and patience, he will eventually overcome his fear of people. He may someday even be a candidate for adoption. But only time will tell. In the meantime, Ralph is safe here at Smiling Dog Farms, where he can live out his days in happiness, sharing a townhome and play yard with his doggie friends.
