Moondoggie Needs Sponsors Moondoggie says, "My friend, Debbie, at the Plano Animal Shelter, saved my life! Nobody had adopted me and I was out of time. Debbie asked Smiling Dog Farms if I could live there until an adoptive home was found for me - and they said YES!! I had to catch a ride from the Plano Animal Shelter to Houston to get to the farm. Two really nice ladies helped me get here from Plano. I first rode with Kathy and then with Harriet. I love being here at Smiling Dog Farms. I have room to run and play and lay out in the sunshine.  Since I’m a VERY high energy (kind of like a Jack Russell to the second power) having a lot of room to run is really nice. It’s so much better than being in a cage at the shelter. And I know I’m safe and loved here!  If I had not come to the farm, I would not have lived to tell you my story! I came from Plano with no funding of any kind and no sponsors. Right now I live in one of the old style doghouses. Ricky and Jay plan to eventually replace all these old style houses with new townhomes, but a guy like me with no one to pay for a new townhome, will have to wait until the “sponsored” dogs get their upgrades first.  I’m hoping that some wonderful people will chip in to help me out so Ricky and Jay can build my new townhome soon.
