Over 25 hours of live music each day with some of Second Life’s best musicians. The event will also include auctions, prizes and giveaways all day and all night. Lucas was an elderly dog who had been abused and neglected for most of his life. He was rescued from certain death years ago by Robert Cabral from www.boundangels.org. Jay Hellerich from Smiling Dog Farms was contacted and agreed to take Lucas, who has sadly passed away since, but we know that his last days were his best ones. All proceeds will benefit Smiling Dog Farms. Smiling Dog Farms is a private animal sanctuary that survives solely on donations. It's also a unique opportunity for artists to directly connect with fans around the world, taking requests and communicating with them in a live environment. Just like playing a gig in Real Life, but without the hassle of carrying gear around and traveling! Music companies are looking and listening. Several musicians have actually signed contracts and the talent is incredible. It is amazing to have musicians from all over the world be heard by others in a unique forum such as Second Life. Be sure you have the "play streaming music" option turned on in their Audio Preferences (press control-P). When you are on a venue that has streaming music, a small Music Control window will automatically pop up on your screen.
