Ishmael NEEDS Sponsors Meet Ishmael! This sweet, happy boy is one of our underpriviledged babies. Ishmael came to Smiling Dog Farms without any sponsors. A concerned citizen observed him living under a trailer, without any food or water. This nice person scooped him up and contacted Jay and Ricky to ask if they could take him. Of course, they said “yes” he could come to the farm! He is a little mixed breed male with a really sweet, easy going temperment. He’s young, so he’s still a little playful and puppyish. When he came to the farm, he didn’t have any sponsors and no one to raise funds for a house for him.  As luck would have it, one of our California girls was looking for a new roomie, and we introduced Sophie and Ishmael. They liked each other right away, so now Ishmael gets to share Sophie’s new townhome and play yard. He’s come a long way since his days of trying to survive under that trailer! Ishmael has been placed in our New Directions Adoption Program because we feel he would be a wonderful companion for some nice family.
