Housing: We Need Your Help!We have a severe housing crisis! We try to never say "No" to a dog who needs us. Many dogs that come to Smiling Dog Farms are “shelter” dogs, with no one to sponsor them. These dogs desperately need to come here. In order to house these dogs, we rely on the generosity of our wonderful Donors to help us with funding for housing.We are ALWAYS in need of more housing units! In addition to needing housing for incoming dogs, we have older dog houses that must be replaced with the new townhome design so that all the dogs at the farm will eventually be living in updated housing. To build these we need fill dirt to raise the grade level so that play yards stay dry, even in heavy rains. We need fencing panels and posts to build their play yards. And we need hardware, lumber and paint to build the houses. AND we need YOUR HELP to make this happen.A townhome & standard play yard costs us $1,262. This includes all materials and supplies, as well as labor by our staff.
