But two really nice ladies, Dianne and Helen, promised they would not let me die!  They called Smiling Dog Farms and asked if I could go there ... and they said YES! I was up in Arlington, Virginia, and a transport to the farm had to be arranged. A really good person named Tiffany said I could stay with her and her husband while transport was arranged. I liked Tiffany and Frank and I liked playing in their yard. But I got curious about what was on the other side of the fence ... so I dug and I chewed 'til I got out. I was in Tiffany and Frank's neighbor's yard, when then I spotted the neighbor's open back door. So I just went right inside to see what was in there. There was another dog! I couldn't help myself ... I got in a fight with their dog! And when their daughter tried to stop it, she got bit!  I felt really bad. I had to be quarantined, because of the bite. And after all the trouble I caused her, Tiffany still loved me. She paid for me to do my time at a vet's office. That was a SECOND close call! If Tiffany had not advocated for me, I would have been euthanized for sure! I finally made it to the farm, and I am glad.
