Chill has two Sponsors This handsome boy is Chill. Chill is a big healthy seven year old sweetheart that has lived his entire life with his momma, Cali. They have come to Smiling Dog Farms from the Dallas area. He’s a sweet boy that is generally well behaved and friendly with children and adults both. Chill lives up to his name and is very calm and relaxed. He loves people and watching butterflies. He rarely barks and always wants to be with people. He loves to eat, too and loves to snuggle.  He doesn’t much like cats, though. And except for his momma, Chill definitely does not like other dogs. As Chill matured, he showed a dominance aggression towards other dogs. His family had to stop taking him to places where there might be other dogs bacause his size and strength made it difficult to prevent an altercation. He weighs about 90 pounds! There were two incidents with other dogs that led to Chill, and his momma, being declared dangerous dogs. The family was left with no choice. If they wanted Chill and Cali to live, they needed to find a sanctuary for them. They contacted Smiling Dog Farms to see if they could come here, and of course, Jay and Ricky said “yes”! Even though he loves his momma, Chill draws the line at sharing his food bowl with her. But he’s happy to share everything else. He has come with Cali to the farm and they share a new town home with a nice big play yard where they can still be together. Here at the farm, Chill doesn’t have to like the other dogs.
